Annix are looking for animators to work on a high profile character TV series. The applicant must be able to show proficiency in principles of animation including weight, timing, acting and posing of characters.

Requirements:

• Work with Animation supervisor and director in establishing characters and design of movement.
• Animate simple to complex shots from start to finish.
• Must be able to work collaboratively with animators as well as other departments.
• Experienced in XSI.
• 3 years plus industry experience

Nine West needs help promoting their Fall fashion line by creating fun and engaging animations of the brand’s icon that tie back to their fashion stories for the Fall 2010 season. Your goal is to bring the current 9 design to life in a forward-thinking, cool way by incorporating this season’s trends into a 15-30 second animation. Creators are eligible to submit up to four animations, two for each theme (Animal, Utility). All work will be reviewed by the Creative Director of Nine West, Fred Allard and Nine West will purchase the five best animations. Additionally, the best work will be featured on the Nine West website.

ink.digital is currently recruiting clean-up artists/animators for major film production. Starting immediately. Expected duration is until end September.

Candidates must have first class life drawing skills. You will have a professional approach to your work and likely have at least an animation training at higher education level and /or professional 2D animation experience, this will probably not be your first job after graduation. You will be working to highly demanding production values and deadlines. Description: The Animator creates high quality motion of computer graphics creatures and objects within a shot, using a variety of animation software programs, and working under the general supervision of Senior Level and Animation Supervisors.

• Responsible for the successful animation of a series of shots on a specific project.
• Participates as a team member in determining various aesthetic solutions; provides feedback to other members of the production by attending dailies on a regular basis.
• Maintains or exceeds a consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work.
• Expected to mentor entry level Animators and must be able to assist them with their shots.
• Performs other tasks related to the creation of computer-generated animation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Traditional Animation and 3 years experience, or at least 5 years of experience working in cel, stopmotion or computer animation.
• 2+ years as an entry level Animator in conjunction with recommendations for advancement by the Animation Supervisors and Department Manager.
• Expert knowledge of traditional animation principles, acting, film production and compositional design.
• Ability to take on a delegated task with a minimum of supervision.
• Knowledge of Unix and shell scripting; expert knowledge of Maya, proprietary and other software programs.
• Good organization and communication skills.

We are an animation and design studio looking for a senior motion graphic designer to join our core team in creating exceptional motion visuals for advertising, gaming and broadcast.

You will have a minimum experience of 4 years in design and AFX animation, backed by a strong portfolio and polished boards. Cinema 4D / Maya and composting skills would be an advantage.
