Scorch London is looking for a motion designer to join our team in Central London.

The right candidate:

• Highly skilled and fast user of After Effects. Keyboard shortcuts are burnt into your brain!
• Design trained to understand typography, movement and layout.
• Quick to understand a brief.
• Experience in working to very tight deadlines.
• Enjoys the creative challenge of working on several projects in the same week.
• Some experience in Cinema 4D is a bonus but not essential.

We work on just about everything, from short promo videos for iPhone apps, to TV commercials, to website landing page videos, to games trailers, to 3 minute long corporate presentations. The right candidate will be happy to take on whatever we throw at them with the same level of enthusiasm for each and every project.

We are looking for a talented After Effects animator/designer/editor to work closely with one of our clients. You’ll supply your own AE set-up on a Mac laptop and base yourself at our clients offices. You will be happy to work closely with our client without our supervision. You’ll work fast with style and creativity.

Working as part of a tightly knit creative department you will help conceive and execute exciting campaigns for the entertainment industry and beyond. You will be ambitious, quirky, highly motivated, hugely creative and have an excellent eye for design with proven experience.

The role will present opportunities to expand your skill set into new areas: from storyboarding to editing, script writing to art direction. Candidates must have 1st rate design skills, killer storyboard skills, 2 years work based experience of After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. A basic knowledge of FCP, Cinema 4D, Flash are also an advantage as is an interest in live action shoots, post-production techniques and industry trends.

Via Cartoon Snap/ Animation Guild

Film Roman is looking for someone with strong Animation and Compositing skills to help with creative retakes on an animated series. Should be well versed in both Flash and After Effects. In this position you may have to fix Animation or Animate from scratch, fix an effect or create one and/or Re-composite scenes.  They need to fill this position by mid-October.
