Experienced Animators Required – Lionhead Studios

We require a highly motivated and talented Animator to work on a high profile franchise title within an established and successful team.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to produce high quality hand keyed animation and ensure that all animation tasks are completed on time and in the correct style.

To apply:

  • Previous experience in computer games development/film/TV essential
  • A high quality animation reel showing clear and proven understanding of character animation, physicality, weight, motion etc
  • A good knowledge of relevant animation packages (ideally XSI)
  • Proactive attitude, good interpersonal skills, and a team player
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Desirable:

  • A knowledge of games pipelines and associated tools
  • A degree in animation/an art background (particularly life drawing)

Digital creative production studio in central London is looking for an exceptionally talented senior animator. You will need to have worked across a range of slick animated projects and class yourself as a specialist digital animator.

You will list your skills as expert in Flash and After Effects and be able to use Actionscript and perhaps have even dabbled in emerging technologies such as PaperVision. The work they produce is of the highest standard – pixel perfect – so you must have evidence of your experience gained at the best Digital agencies and production companies in the UK and beyond. Working to tight deadlines and paying meticulous attention to detail will all come naturally to you but mostly importantly be proud of what goes out to the clients every time.

Lead Artist + Character Animation skills

As the Lead Artist you’ll be required to manage the day to day operations of a talented art team.
A proven track record of working on games with strong stylisation is necessary. Traditional 2D draughtsmanship would be a distinct advantage. Character animation skills would be a bonus. Minimum software knowledge would include 3DS MAX or Maya, and Photoshop.
