Full-Time After Effects Animator/ Illustrator
We are looking for full-time, talented 2D Animator / motion designers. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years animating commercials.
- After Effects,
- Illustration and storyboarding
- an understanding of business,
- experience working with business clients,
- and a general knowledge of how to direct advertising.
- Strong collaborative work ethic and the ability to help lead and deliver creative concepts
- Generating ideas and selling them to clients and other members of the team
- Collaborating across the studio to drive up standards of digital creativity
- Strong knowledge of video editing
You will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating high-quality 2D animation for broadcast and web videos while collaborating with our creative directors.

The MetroTech offers free ping pong, US Open screenings, yearly art installations, a outdoor courtyard for lunch and dinner filled with shade trees, and a Christmas Tree that rivals Rockefeller Center.—The Metro Tech also has lots of food options within a seven minute walk or less from the studio.—We share our building with the creators of Peg + Cat, Finding Your Roots, Ken Burns Films, and Lena Dunham’s Podcast—Our downtown San Francisco office is located at the Embarcadero Center on top of San Francisco’s Embarcadero shopping mall.
Compensation is $16-28 an hour depending on experience ($35-$80,000 salary a year)
