The role

We are recruiting for a junior 2D animator position, which would involve assisting with animating monthly videos which educate customers on various aspects of cyber security, through an engaging and fun narrative utilising our established characters.Your focus will be on working on aligated shots and scenes each month to help create 2-3 minute long videos.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to create monthly 2D animations regarding cyber security.
• Asist with ideas as to how best structure the narrative and storyboards.
• Design and illustrate merchandise using our characters.
• Assist with the editing process of each animation.

About you

• Ability to adapt to the established drawing and animation style within our existing animation library.
• Previous experience with animating within a team.
• Ability to work with both frame by frame & rigged 2D animation (we often utilise a mix of the two, depending on the scene requirements).
• Familiar with the Toon-Boom software, or adaptable to it through previous experience with similar 2D animation softwares, e.g. Adobe Animate, Flash.
• Ability to keep within model when animating with our established characters.
• Emphasis on expressive and humorous character performance.
• Motivated to create an engaging narrative with a light-hearted approach, without sacrificing the learning points of each topic.
• Have passion regarding the characters and stories you will help create.
