Our 200+ M2 family is a melting pot of experienced talents and consist of more than 20 nationalities from all over the world.  Our range covers from storytelling to design, from modeling to texturing, from camera layout to animation and lightning, and from effects to color grading. Right now, M2 Animation is looking for Pipeline TD to support in the creation of TV Series, TVCs and High-Spec Short Format Films for our big-name clients. The artists in the teams produce a variety of series-format animation: Tween, 2D, preschool etc.

The Position:
The Pipeline Technical Director is responsible for developing and maintaining the production pipeline, and ensuring it is running smoothly and efficiently. Based within the Pipeline Team of Seniors and Juniors, our Pipeline TD will be active in both development, projects, mentoring, supporting, and educating the artists. As a candidate for the position we see you as having a bachelor’s degree in computing science or graphic discipline or equivalent professional experience. We are looking for a candidate with some proven experience in the animated TV/Film/VFA.

This position is open for residents of Thailand and Mumbai respectively.

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Developing our pipeline with the team and artists to meet our customers’ needs
• Optimizing our pipeline
• To keep end users and managers informed of progress and requests by being a good and clear communicator
• To engage with and understand artists and managers to discover their requirements by being an effective listener
• Being an effective time manager and meet deadlines, you must be able to prioritize many requests and not be afraid to ask for help if the path is not clear
• A creative thinker and innovator – able to devise and employ solutions to difficult problems while coming up with smart deployment methods

Skills and Technical Knowledge Requirements:
We require a positive-thinking, eager, and passionate, pipeline td with strong interpersonal skills and good spoken English and Thai to join our multinational studio and help us create world-class, animation.

The right candidate will also have:

• Passionate about CG/VFX technology ad art. Understanding that the technology feeds artistic needs
• A creative thinker and innovator – able to devise and employ solutions to difficult problems while coming up with smart deployment methods
• Strong knowledge of Python programming in Windows environment while maintaining the idea of tools being used on multi platforms in the future. We also prefer knowledge of standard Python packaging and virtual environment installation.
• Experience working with revision control systems and defined coding standards
• Experience developing tools and/or plug-ins within industry software packages such as Maya, Nuke, Houdini, and Shotgun.
• Experience with Redshift, Vray or Arnold
• We also prefer that the candidate has experience with database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB and experience in developing against and/or deploying Amazon Web Services and integration with Deadline.
• Experience in VFX, feature animation or episodic production

Terms of employment, salary, and benefits will be individually negotiated. We will provide support in case of relocation.
