The Production Coordinator will be working closely with the Production Manager, Line Producer and Series Producer to manage and oversee the production of a 2D/CG mixed media TV series project.
The day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Producers / Production Manager and relevant Department Heads in planning, facilitating, tracking and reporting on all aspects of Animation Production, according to the master schedule, taking care of all day-to-day departmental & crew needs,
- Create, communicate and maintain departmental schedules and reports, using as a reference the master schedule and project management tools,
- Projected and day-to-day scheduling of artists and resources and ensure that required quotas are met and progress is monitored through Shotgrid,
- Supporting the Animation Directors, Supervisors and Animators in managing their workloads and adhering to deadlines,
- Work closely with relevant Production Crew & HoDs to ensure clear communication and flow of information across all departments,
- Day-to-day problem solving and flag issue as they arise. Proactively suggest and implement solutions as needed,
- Maintain tracking documents / general departmental documentation and keep Shotgrid up to date with all necessary information, feeding accurate reports to Producers when necessary,
- Ensure external, client and legal/S&P feedback is communicated to the teams and incorporated when flagged,
- Regularly check in with relevant crew to track their progress and offer day-to-day support,
- Assist Senior Production team with recruitment / HR / crew wellbeing needs as required to help foster a balanced, sustainable and welcoming work environment for everyone
