Calling all animators with experience working in ToonBoom Harmony!

We are Dead Jesters Productions studio, home of the animated adult cartoon series, Roads To Rome.

Our Studio is looking to add a second animator to our team to assist our Director of Animation. We are looking to add someone to help us with a 12-15 minute Episode 4, and, if all goes well, to stay on board for Episode 5 & for the foreseeable future of the show.

We are a professional animation studio looking for capable animators who are already experienced working within the ToonBoom Harmony platform.

Job Requirements Below:

Applicant Must:

– Be familiar with Toon Boom Harmony (Premium) Rig-Based animation.
– Must be knowledgeable of Master Controllers within Toon Boom.
– Must be able to do frame-by-frame animation when needed.
– Must be knowledgeable and comfortable with using the node-view system within Toon Boom.
– Must be adaptable and be able to make decisions within the parameters set by the director and storyboard.
– Good communication skills.
– Must know how to use Google Drive.
– Must have a good understanding of how to rig in Toon Boom.  (Does not have to know how to rig completely, but it is a huge plus if they know how to rig.)
– Must have decent draftsmanship skills to stay on model with the show’s style.  (Animation style package will be provided.)

Anyone who would apply for this position must present the following to be considered:

– A demo reel showing their skills relevant to the job.
– A resume of previous work within animation.  (Does not have to be professional work, but some sort of history of their work within animation.)
– Must have their own license of Toon Boom Harmony (Current versions).

If considered for the position, then the applicant will be required to do a test animation with a provided Toon Boom Project file containing a demonstration character to complete the following actions:

– Walk to an object on a table.
– Pick up the object.
– Draw any drawing substitutions needed for the character’s hands or facial features to complete the action.
– Follow along with the animatic associated within the project file.
– Lip sync the character’s mouth with the audio within the project file.
– Activate any dynamic spring features within the character.

If the applicant can satisfy these requirements and show that they can complete the test animation, they can be considered for the position.

WFH payment = $3,500
